COVID-19 Procedures
Last updated: November 27, 2020
In light of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the Atlanta area, CAA is making the following changes to our day-to-day procedures in order to ensure that our students and team stay as healthy as possible while training:
--All students, staff, and visitors will now be required to wear a face covering when visiting our PDK office.
--A maximum of 10 persons in the office at a time will be enforced. Please continue to observe 6-ft social distancing procedures whenever possible.
--Before a flight lesson, while waiting for the aircraft to return, students are encouraged to wait in their cars until the aircraft arrives. If choosing to use this option, students should simply text their instructor upon arrival at PDK. (Your instructor's phone number can be found by viewing your reservation on FSP).
--Check-in/check-out procedures will be adjusted to be completed outside of the office, when possible. In order to participate, students should bring their logbooks home with them, to avoid visiting the office. (This is merely a suggestion. Students are welcome to continue to leave their logbooks at PDK, but will need to put on a mask before entering the office).
We respectfully request: If you have been unwell or have been exposed to someone else who is, please stay home and do NOT attend. Contact us at least 24 hours prior and we will be happy to cancel your lesson without penalty.
Should a student or instructor come into contact with someone who is COVID positive, all students/staff that the student/instructor came in contact with will be notified. The information on Flight Schedule Pro will be used to contact the student first, then parents if necessary. The student and staff that came in contact will be required to either take and pass a negative COVID test or self quarantine before returning to the office.
We appreciate everyone's understanding of this policy. Thanks for doing your part to keep our students and team healthy as possible while training with us.
