Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC)
If your IFR currency has lapsed, you'll want an IPC to help keep your skills sharp and keep you safe. Our instructors use the FAA's Guide on giving an IPC. Typically, we will spend between 1.5-2 hours (more if you need) going over weather, performance, airworthiness requirements, IFR cross country planning, risk management, instrument departures, en-route navigation, emergency procedures, STARs and more. Our professional but relaxed instructors will work at your pace to make sure that the end of the IPC that you will feel safe and confident flying "real world IFR".
Like most of our courses, our IPC has a fixed cost of $299* and includes all the instruction you need to help keep you safe. The only additional cost to you would be the airplane - however all the instruction is included in the fixed price.
If you desire to use a simulator, we also have a Flight Training Device (FTD) for your use.
