Middle & High School Pilot Academy
Designed especially for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students, this class is a great way for them to jump start their flying careers!
The Middle & High School Academy is a three "school year long" (September-May) course that consists of consecutive levels of classes with a summer break between each. Students who are in 7th-9th grade will start off their pilot training with the Level I Academy and then progress upwards into levels II and III of the program. Once they successfully complete all three levels, students will then progress to private training and then will actually become certified to solo!
All classes are taught by FAA-certified flight and ground instructors and are designed to be interactive, engaging and fun! All the classroom and flight time earned in the course is logged in a pilot's logbook and actually counts towards the requirements for earning an FAA private pilot certificate!
Monthly tuition includes about 2-3 classes and 1 flight lesson per month (13 total classes plus 5 flights per semester). The classes take place on weekends (Saturday or Sunday), and the monthly flight lesson is scheduled using our flexible online scheduling system.
A sample of the material covered in each Academy level is as follows:

***The CAA Pilot Academy program is a rigorous program that requires students to be highly self motivated to be successful in the course. This includes the students having to pass both midterm and final exams with at least an 80%. While we will do everything we can to help in the success of our students, any failure of an exam can lead to suspension from the program***
