Instruction and Other Rates

Here at CAA, we're proud to have some of the best instructors who not only love what they do but are also true professionals to work with. We will always have your back when it comes to flight training and guarantee that you'll LOVE flying with us!

Flight Instructor Rates (Ground or Flight)
Please note: we do not provide instruction in personal aircraft

• $99/hr (one hour minimum)

Other Rates and Terms

• FAA Approved BATD Elite PI-135 5 screen Simulator: $59/hr

• Late/No Show Fee: $150

• Aircraft Cleaning Fee $300 (for when the aircraft has to be taken out of service for cleaning due to sick passengers etc.)

• Minimum Down Payment at beginning of training: $2,000

• Fuel Reimbursement up to $7.00/gal

• Credit Card Convenience Fee: 3.5%

  Please note that the minimum age for front seat passenger is 10 and back seat (ride along) passengers is 7. The aircraft seats are about 15 inches wide (a little smaller than a commercial airline seat) and passengers/students will need to ensure they can fit comfortably in the seat with the provided seat belt and remain clear of the flight controls.

Middle/High School Pilot Academy-Specific Fees

• Pilot Academy Make-up/Extra Help Class (Private): Normal hourly CFI Rate

• Pilot Academy Extra Help Class (Pre-scheduled): CFI Hourly Rate

• Pilot Academy Exam Retake/Makeup Fee: $75

• Out of uniform fee: $50

• Pilot Academy Early Termination Fee: $399

• No Show for Pilot Academy Flight = Loss of Flight Credit or $150 to reinstate flight credit
