Introductory Flights

Thinking of learning to fly? Want to fly over your house, Stone Mountain or Downtown Atlanta? Want to gift someone an amazing experience?

Our Introductory Flight Package is a perfect way to "get your feet off the ground" and experience what it's really like to fly an airplane! Flights are taken in one of our four-seat Piper Cherokee aircraft and depart from the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport in Atlanta.

Because each person wants something different from these flights, your instructor will help customize the experience according to your interests. You may choose to fly day or night, sunset or sunrise... it's your call! You are also more than welcome to bring along up to two passengers to ride in the back seats, as long as we determine that the aircraft is within weight and balance regulations.

Scheduling, Payment, and Terms

You will pay and schedule using the “Buy Now” button below. We recommend a morning or evening, as the conditions are typically the smoothest and most comfortable for first-time pilots. If the weather is bad on the day of your flight (storms, rain, low visibility, or turbulence), we will reach out to reschedule.

We understand plans change from time to time - so if you need to reschedule your flight, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to the flight.

Inside of the 48-hour window, you will be charged a $25 fee to reschedule. Once purchased, the Discovery Flights are non-refundable and expire 12 months after purchase.
If you fail to arrive before the flight’s departure time, your flight will be forfeited at that time.

Please note that the minimum age for front seat passenger is 10 and back seat (ride along) passengers is 7. The aircraft seats are about 15 inches wide (a little smaller than a commercial airline seat). Please consider this and ensure all passengers can fit comfortably in the seat with the provided seat belt and remain clear of the flight controls. If your instructor determines there is a safety concern, you will be offered a future flight credit that may be gifted or otherwise used within 12 months.

Before you come out to the airport, please complete the required Guest Waiver below for the flight recipient and any passengers "riding along" in the back.
